Honda Motor Company grundades 1948 i Hamamatsu med ett kapital på 1 miljon yen. Det är nu drömmarna börjar bli verklighet på allvar. Nu kan ingenting stoppa Soichiro Honda. 1949 börjar man tillverka Dream – en lättviktare med 98 cc tvåtaktsmotor (D-type).
