Var kommer WiFi ifrån?
WiFi är en förkortning av Wireless Fidelity. WLAN, Wireless Local Area Network, används normalt synonymt med WiFi men är inte begränsat till en specifik teknik. På Wikipedia kan man läsa ”Wi-Fi ([ˈvifi] eller engelska: [ˈwaɪfi:], [ˈwaɪfaɪ])”. Vår tolkning är att det uttalas ”vifi” på svenska och ”waifai” på engelska.
