Var tillverkas MINI Countryman?
Det var en stor händelse när Countryman som första moderna Mini-modell började tillverkas på fastlandet, närmare bestämt Magna Steyr i Österrike, i stället för i Storbritannien där resten av Minis modellprogram sätts ihop. Sedan dess har Paceman gjort Countryman sällskap i österrikiska Graz.

As you Mini Cooper buffs know, the previous-generation S was supercharged while the current one is turbocharged. Before this version debuted and I had heard that Mini was switching from super- to turbocharging, it struck me odd.
Is the supercharged Cooper s more reliable?
The supercharged seams to be a bit more reliable than the Turbo But as said the fuel use is a lot more, The build on both new and old is not as good as it should be. It all depends on what you are going to use the car for. Had an early CooperS for two years as the wifes car and loved the handling and noise of the supercharger.
Should I buy a Cooper s works or Turbo model?
As a result the turbo model turns in far quicker acceleration figures, and in fact is allegedly not too far off the pace of the supercharged Cooper S Works model, which has a fair bit more power on paper. Personally although not a fan of either, I personally prefer the looks of the older model.
How is the mini compared to the A3?
I want decent mpg and it looks like the mini will give around 32mpg which is only 8 less than the A3 From what I know of them from reading car magazines and forums (not actually driven one)… The supercharged one is, as you know the previous model, with a Chrysler engine, the new one, the turbo, uses the same lump as the 207 GTI.
