Hos vissa individer kan de dock pågå under längre tid (2-3 månader eller längre). Det rekommenderas därför att dosen trappas ned gradvis vid behandlingens avslutande under en period av minst en till två veckor, enligt patientens behov (se ”Utsättningssymtom efter behandling med fluoxetin” under avsnitt 4.2).
