Symtombild vid överdosering En stor överdos av prometazin framkallar oftast inom en timme en viss medvetandesänkning samt antikolinerga symtom som vidgade pupiller, motorisk oro, agitation, hallucinationer och ibland ett fullskaligt delirium (Fakta 1).
Hur långe verkar Lergigan?
Den effektiva dosen kan upprepas efter 30– 60 minuter. Alternativt kan fysostigmin ges i kontinuerlig infusion 1-3 mg/timme. Om annan hjärtpåverkan än sinustakykardi föreligger får lämpligheten av att ge fysostigmin diskuteras från fall till fall.
Prometazin Actavis innehåller prometazinhydroklorid som ingår i en grupp läkemedel som kallas fentiaziner.
