Vad ska en tollare väga?
Tollaren är den minsta av retrieverraserna. Mankhöjd för hanar är 48–51 cm och tikar 45–48 cm. Den väger vanligen 17–23 kg. Rasen är röd till färgen och vita tecken är önskvärda på huvudet (bläs), bröst, tassar och svanstipp, men det förekommer hundar som helt saknar vita tecken.

Färgen är den karakteristiska röda och de har ofta vita tecken på huvudet, bröstet, tassar och svanstipp. Det finns de hundar som inte har några vita tecken. Tollaren är i grunden en apporterande fågelhund.

The Duck Toller first joined the AKC in 2001 as a part of the Miscellaneous Class. The AKC changed their classification in 2003 and let them join other dogs in the retrieving world.
