Vilken choklad innehåller palmolja?
Marabou klassiker som Twist-påsen, Daim, Co-co, Japp, Tack-praliner, Chokladhjärtan innehåller alla palmolja. En kaka ren mjölkchoklad är däremot fri från det. Mars: Snickers, Mars, Twix och Kit-kat innehåller alla palmolja. Cloettas Romerska bågar, Polly, Ako-kola, kexchoklad, Plopp och Rollo-kola innehåller palmolja.
Vad används palmolja och sojabönan till?
Ur sojabönan utvinns även sojaolja, en av världens viktigaste vegetabiliska oljor. Den används i livsmedel men också i kemisk-tekniska produkter som tvål, kosmetika och biodiesel. Sojalecitin är en vanlig tillsats i livsmedel – i allt från choklad till smoothies.
Should Cadbury have stuck with Fairtrade?
Cadbury has insisted its own program will replicate much of the Fairtrade initiative and has touted that the Fairtrade Foundation will continue as a partner. But Fairtrade Australia and New Zealand boss Molly Harriss Olson has said she would have preferred it if Cadbury had stuck with the Fairtrade brand.
Is green and Black’s Chocolate fair-trade?
Green & Black’s chocolate, owned by Cadbury, have always displayed their fair-trade credentials. A new bar drops the certification. The new product from Green and Black’s, formerly independent but now part of Cadbury, will sport the Cocoa Life brand instead.

“Cadbury Dairy Milk will not be Fairtrade certified in the traditional sense. It will be a new partnership, a different sort of partnership”. Molly Harriss Olson, CEO of Fairtrade Australia and New Zealand, says she will be holding Cadbury to account. She said Fairtrade would continue to monitor and verify elements of Cadbury’s new program.
