Vad är en Perforant?
Perforanter är förbindelser mellan ytliga och djupa vener. Definitionsmässigt måste en perforant passera muskelfascian mellan subcutis och muskeln. Perforanter har klaffar och vid normala (kompetenta) perforanter går flödet alltid från det ytliga vensystemet till det djupa. Små perforanter, < 3 mm är vanliga.
