Vilken tid är 12 01 AM?
AM är latin för ante meridiem, vilket betyder före middag. AM betyder alltså förmiddag. PM är latin för post meridiem, vilket betyder efter middag. PM betyder alltså eftermiddag.
När är 12.00 AM?
AM betyder Ante Meridiem och är latin för ”före middag”. AM används således mellan midnatt och innan 12.00 mitt på dagen. AM används alltså för att ange tiden på natten och förmiddagen. PM betyder Post Meridiem och är latin för ”efter middag”.
Vad räknas som förmiddag och eftermiddag?
Eftermiddag är motsatsen till ordet förmiddag eller ante meridiem (AM) som det heter på latin. Eftermiddagen råder den andra halvan av dygnet, det vill säga 12:00 till 24:00. I folkmun avses dock ibland eftermiddag omkring klockan 14:00 till 16:00 (mellan middag och kväll). Ordet kommer ursprungligen av ordet middag.
Is it 12am or 12pm?
Is that 12am or 12pm. Is it the night between Monday and Tuesday or between Tuesday and Wednesday? Some will say midnight is 12am, and therefore that midday (or noon) is 12pm. Others will say this doesn’t make sense as noon can be neither am (before noon) or pm (after noon)!
What is the difference between midnight and 12 pm?
We say 12 at midday or midnight as a continuation of the sequence from 1 up to 11, and 12 comes after 11. Hence, if we refer to the mornings and say 1 am to 11 am, then 12 must follow as 12 am (midday); and, if we refer to the afternoons and nights and say 1 pm to 11 pm, then 12 must follow as 12 pm (midnight).
Is 24/00 AM or PM?
For example after 24:00 we do have 24:01; 24:02 ….. so on till 24:59 when it is 24:60 which is 25:00 but we don’t say 25:00 but we say it 1:00 “AM”. Therefore from 24:00 to 24:59 should be “PM” not AM. Same way after 12:00 noon i.e. 12:00:01 to 12:59 should be “AM” not PM. otherwise one hour will be vanished in between.
What is the difference between 8am and 8pm?
pm = post meridiem (between midday and midnight) So returning to the question about the difference between 8am and 8pm: 8am is in the morning, and 8pm is in the evening.
