Vad är plasmider uppgift?
Plasmider är små ringformade DNA-molekyler som finns utanför kromosomerna i många bakterier. Plasmider bär ofta en förhållandevis liten mängd information (gener) och kan därmed lätt överföras mellan bakterier. De används som verktyg inom molekylärbiologin, till exempel vid kloning av gener.
