Var finns tallskog?
Arten växer nära vattendrag i större torra landskap som stäpper. Stora delar av Europas norra och östra delars yta är skog, och därav är barrskog den vida övervägande delen. Tallen är näst granen det vanligaste trädet i den svenska skogen.
Kan man äta Tallskott?
Tallen är användbar till så otroligt mycket – hela året runt! Den ger oss inte bara virke, kåda, skott, bark, rötter och kottar. Även tallbarren går att skörda och det är perfekt att plocka dem på vintern eftersom de är extra fulla med C-vitamin då.
Vad är Tallstrunt?
Det är små hanblommor från tall. Tallstrunt kallas de tydligen. Tallen (Pinus sylvestris) är jättebra, den går nämligen att använda till mycket. Barken från unga plantor kan rostas och ätas som snacks, rötterna från unga plantor kan ätas råa eller i en gryta och skotten kan ätas som de är.
