En cafe racer är en motorcykel som byggs om för att efterlikna 50-, 60- och 70-tals sportmotorcyklar. Ursprunget är oklart men härstammar någonstans runt 60-, 70-talet då många byggde om sina motorcyklar för att efterlikna dåtidens fabriksbyggda race-hojar för att sedan tävla på lokala banor och mellan stadens kaféer.
