Varför Peking inte Beijing?
Kinesiska namn bör återges med det så kallade pinyinsystemet, det transkriberingssystem som används av kineserna själva när de skriver kinesiska med latinsk skrift. Den korrekta återgivningen av den kinesiska huvudstaden enligt detta system är Beijing.
