Cosplay är en förkortning för Costume Play. Deltagarna försöker efterlikna en karaktär från ett spel, en anime- eller mangaserie eller något annat sammanhang och målet är att vara så lik karaktären som möjligt.

Harem anime is a hugely popular genre and pairs popularly with the ecchi genre. Harem genre easily commands a huge fan base, and a lot of new anime is coming up under this genre. An important thing to note is that many of these anime have more than one season.
