Vilken utbildning måste man ha för att bli astronom?
Som astronom har du en gedigen utbildning i fysik, där du specialiserar dig på astronomi eller astrofysik. Även andra inriktningar kan ge möjligheter att arbeta med fokus mot rymden, genom tex teoretiska analyser inför praktiska rymdprojekt, banberäkningar eller arbete med materialfysik eller teoretisk fysik.

Vad behöver man för att bli astrofysiker?
Utbildningar inom astronomi eller astrofysik kräver oftast Grundläggande behörighet + Fysik 2, Kemi 1, Matematik 4. Du läser först ett 3-årigt Kandidatprogram i astronomi och sedan ett 2-årigt masterprogram. Efter utbildningen finns möjligheter att doktorera (4 år) och sedan arbeta med astronomisk forskning.
