What is Microsoft Power BI service?
The Microsoft Power BI service (app.powerbi.com), sometimes referred to as Power BI online, is the SaaS ( Software as a Service) part of Power BI. In the Power BI service, dashboards help you keep a finger on the pulse of your business. Dashboards display tiles, which you can select to open reports for exploring further.
How do I edit parameter settings in the Power BI service?
You can review and edit parameter settings in the Power BI service, but not create them. In the Power BI service, select the cog icon to open Settings. Select the tab for Datasets and highlight a dataset in the list. Expand Parameters. If the selected dataset has no parameters, you see a message with a link to Learn more about query parameters.
How to integrate AAD with Power BI as a service principal?
A Power BI Admin need to enable the admin toggle in the Admin portal, as shown in the picture below, and apply it for specific security groups. Note that the new AAD web application created in step 1 must be added to one of those security groups, to be able to authenticate to Power BI as a service principal.
