Hur testar man sig för njurbäckeninflammation?
Ibland få du göra olika tester som visar hur urinblåsan och njurarna fungerar, till exempel med hjälp av ultraljud. Njurbäckeninflammation ska alltid behandlas med antibiotika, oavsett om du är barn eller vuxen. Snabb behandling minskar risken för skador på njurarna och hindrar bakterier att ta sig ut i blodet.
Vid misstänkt njurbäckeninflammation får du lämna blodprov, urinprov och göra en röntgenundersökning. I vissa fall behöver du även göra en gynekologisk eller urologisk undersökning för att utesluta andra besvär.
