Vad är Streptocillin?
STREPTOCILLIN VET. är ett kombinationspreparat som innehåller dihydrostreptomycin (tillhör gruppen aminoglykosider) och bensylpenicillin. Dihydrostreptomycin utövar en baktericid effekt genom att ingripa i bakteriernas proteinsyntes (RNA-transkription på ribosomnivå).
Egenskaper. Den antibakteriellt verksamma substansen i SYNULOX VET. – amoxicillin – är ett bredspektrumpenicillin. Amoxicillin har baktericid effekt genom hämning av cellväggssyntesen och är aktivt mot grampositiva kocker och stavar, gramnegativa kocker samt ett stort antal gramnegativa stavar.
