1850: Det första kooperativa företaget grundas i Sverige av landshövding von Kræmer i Uppsala. 1899: 44 ombud från 42 föreningar samlas till ”allmän kooperativ kongress” och bildar Kooperativa Förbundet. 1908: KF startar sparkasseverksamhet.
